Building a Bed

I'm currently bedless and in the process of figuring out a new way to sleep. 

I'm thinking I'll reconfigure this look that I've posted about before. We have some extra pallets at work so I'll use a few of those versus the rustic logs. Throw a flokati in between the pallets and my mattress and call it a day. YEP, now I just need a mattress.

A Very Thrifty Weekend

Spent some time shopping here in Portland this weekend and scored some awesome items for our house.

White tulip base table is now a record stand in my bedroom.

White director's chairs (there are technically 2).  For now it sits in my bedroom - but once the sun comes out it will sit in my backyard.

(Because I found a black vinyl vintage Steelcase chair to replace it!!!)

Triangle ΔΔΔ LOVE /// Needing warmth

I can't seem to have enough blankets on my bed right now. I love a cool room and the warmth that comes with the weight of 10 blankets on top of me. This is one of the best quilts I've ever seen...oh how I'd love to have it strewn across my bed.

GORGEOUSLY GREEN

So Ketch and I are getting a place together. We have decided because we have lots of bright furniture that we will paint the walls a neutral gray. Our bed, big headboard and a small dresser will be the color of this room's walls. But after seeing this room I'm fantasizing about the bed being white and this green being on our walls. I love it.

Photo Inspired Rooms

The Color Scheme Room Designs inspired by nature photography came out really well. I got really into it and my teacher seemed to like the boards I made! First board so I was pretty stoked. Pics will come! But my midterms and project went really well. Will show you the finished product when i get it back. But until then...some bedroom inspiration. Never thought I would like a pink and blue room!

To be honest I feel like I would like this room in any color combination just because that bed is SO RAD!
