Working in the Schoolhouse Electric showroom is a glorious thing. Being surrounded by beautifully designed lighting every day is really fantastic. But it has made me even more aware of how many light bulbs are going into landfills every day. I have been taking a lot of the dead bulbs home and have plans for some sort of pretty hanging piece.
I love that other people are reworking them into functional pieces in addition to artsy statements. I've even seen people use them as plant holders.
