White Picnic ///

I helped plan a little white picnic for my older sister's birthday a few weeks ago at the bluffs. 

I brought balloons and PBR.

Riding with those balloons was almost the best bike ride ever.

Smell the Roses///

June in Portland is weird...days give us 15 minutes of sun and then 15 minutes of rain...a rotation similar to this usually goes all month long. I like to call it Junuary. 

But Friday night was just nice enough to bike all over the eastside with my Jorie girl on my old clunky cruiser (sorry other cyclists, this is a slow ride with wide turns). 

My sweet sweet boss brought us roses from her garden. They smelled amazing and with those in my basket it was truly the most euphoric ride ever. 

These simple moments are making me happy right now...keeping me sane. Helping me realize that it doesn't take much.
