Handmade fruit and veggie bags.

We all use so many plastic bags. Every time we buy apples, peppers, bulk almonds...they go in a plastic bag. Why not have reusable produce bags just as we do shopping bags? Any sort of netting from a fabric store will work, or even a sheer nylon or cotton. I recommend SHEER because it makes it easier for the clerk to see what you are purchasing. Simply add a drawstring with ribbon and it's perfect! Produce bags are usually about 11"x16" so I'm just going to make mine that size. I might even make a special little drawstring bag with a clip to roll them up and put them in. That way I can just clip them to my normal shopping bag! I might even make some for my lunches: sandwich bag size!
