This image is great - it is exactly how I have to go into interior design meetings with clients. Of course it's a generalization, but women seem to have a name for everything (AND EVERY NAME IS DIFFERENT!!!!). Deciphering these names is the difficult part of my job. Guys on the other hand, their eyes tend to glaze over when they hear the words "chartreuse", "moss" and "spindrift" (p.s. Sprindrift? WTF is spindrift?). So simplification is key!
I like to lay out a story board of colors and just say "point to your favorites" - then there is no color naming and NO CONFUSION.
