Brad and I spent labor day up at Lost Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest. It was out two year anniversary and we needed a weekend of our own. We were pretty much flying by the seat of our pants hoping there'd be a spot on such a busy weekend.
But as luck would have it the night before we got there it rained...causing a lot of campers to flee. As our luck would have it it didn't start raining again until the morning.
Here are some shots we took on my Minolta from our first night and morning in the mountains.

Tall boys in hand, sooo ready for a weekend away. This was our camping spot. Perfection.
The lodge reminded me of a Hayley Mills movie.
We spent a lot of time just basking by the lake on the little boardwalk by our campsite.
As so many had before...
And woke to a perfect fire, fried eggs, hashbrowns, veggie sausages and fire toast.
Energy for the hike up Lost Lake Butte /// more photos to come.
Love, K
