I went to Crafty Wonderland!

I checked out Crafty Wonderland's annual holiday bazaar at the Convention Center yesterday. God I wish that thing went on throughout the Holiday season. I could have spent at least a full weekend there. But instead, My dearest Cassi and I raced through in only a couple hours. It got to the point where I was just picking up business cards if i saw something i liked and dashing on to the next booth.

"Sorry guys, no time for chitchat, I'll order it off your etsy site!"

So...when finals are over I promise to sift through my 50 or so business cards and show you the best of the best of Crafty Wonderland. BUT AFTER FINALS! Purumph!

I have sweet potatoes just sitting in the freezer...

So I think I'll have to make this Moroccan Chicken Stew soon...mmmm...ofcourse substituting the chicken with Morningstar's Meal Starters Chik'n Strips.

I'd been planning for months to go see Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros...then finals came around.


I'm super bummed. I've now missed them twice in Portland. Last night they were at Doug Fir which would have been an intimate venue for them, probably pretty fun.

Oh well, I guess third time's the charm? So come back soon Edward! Ya hear?!

Moccasin Love: Minnetonka Sale at REI!

Last night I was getting into what is the first of many Holiday shopping adventures when I stopped into REI. I was pretty happy I was chattin up my Momma on the phone when I came across REI's sale on Minnetonkas! Most are pretty hoky...Im really not a fan of the peace sign and pale blue mocs. But I was sure to tell Mom about this little number on sale for $18.00 down from $42!
